The Urbana School District will soon begin a new program aimed at sourcing nutritious food from local sources.
“It’s important that students are able to have a healthy diet as they learn and play during the day. Fortunately, we have been able to partner with a local organization to source local meats from the community. The program is very low cost, and the food is very local,” said a source.
Exactly where the meat would come from, the source declined to specify, but they emphasized the importance of supporting schools.
