The Champaign County Freedom Celebration is back this year preparing for another amazing Independence Day celebration.
Friday looks like a hot one, so looks like a typical Fourth of July celebration.
New Parade Route and Time: Shorter Route, Later Time
The parade begins at 4:30 PM near 4th& Kirby. It continues North on 4th to Gregory then proceeds West on Gregory to First St and then South on First St. To Kirby Ave. Then East on Kirby Ave Back to 4th St. Parade units turn into NE Lot of the State Farm Center to disperse and exit area at 4th St.
The evening program begins at 6p with live music, a bounce house, and other fun entertainment things. The fireworks show starts around 9:15p. Here is the map of the evening program.
